This is the face of a thug who threatened to shoot bouncers – after they booted him from a city centre nightclub.
Furious Hasnen Hussain held the security staff at gunpoint with a loaded Colt Revolver just moments after being thrown out of an Arcadian club.
The 20-year-old was kicked out in the early hours of Sunday, January 27 following a disorder inside Club 101.
But, minutes later, Hussain returned with a firearm which he pointed at the door staff.
Terrified clubbers alerted patrolling cops – who chased Hussain along Smallbrook Queensway.
He was then tackled to the ground by officers and disarmed of his gun.
Hussain was arrested and charged with possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and following a trial at Birmingham Crown Court found guilty yesterday (17 April).
The gunman, of Kitts Green Road, has now been jailed for nine years and ordered to serve a minimum of six years.
He will also serve a further three years on licence.
Detective Constable Ed Ketterer from Force CID, said: “We are pleased to see a potentially very dangerous man behind bars. Hussain was running around with a loaded gun and we are thankful that the outcome of this night wasn’t much worse.
“We take gun crime very seriously and we hope this sentence will make others think twice before they even consider stepping outside with a firearm.”
