Asghar Bostan, 47, has been locked up behind bars for nine years after he was found guilty of raping a teenage girl.
Bostan of East Bawtry Road, Rotherham, raped the teenage girl twice between 2000 and 2002 after he flooded her with alcohol and drugs.
The victim who cannot be named for legal reasons told the court, Mr Bostan had attacked her twice at a flat in Wagon Road, Rotherham.
The teenage girl was under the age of 16 years old at the time. She had reported Mr Bostan to South Yorkshire Police in 2014.
Asghar Bostan jailed for nine years.
The National Crime Agency team was referred to this case and they led the investigation and have been investigating child sexual exploitation in the city of Rotherham since 1997.
Kate Hurst, from the CPS, said; “Bostan took advantage of a young girl at a time when she was vulnerable.
“On two separate occasions, drink and possibly drugs were used before he took her into the bedroom and raped her. Bostan was much older than the victim who was still a child and barely knew him.
“Bostan denied that he was the male she recognised as ‘Don’ but evidence put forward by the CPS, including the victim’s accounts of the incidents, saw the jury find him guilty.
Asghar Bostan was sentenced to serve nine years in prison at Sheffield Crown Court and had a restraining order imposed on him.
