UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has gone all in against the UFC….

For those living under a rock, this past weekend after he submitted Conor McGregor in the fourth round of the UFC 229 main event things got crazy. Khabib jumped out of the cage and went after McGregor’s trainer Dillon Danis and a full-scale Brawl ensued.

Khabib has defended his action by saying that he McGregor and his camp had taken things to far my insulting his family and religion. It made for a memorable ending to what was a dominating performance by Khabib.

In the middle of the brawl, two of Khabib’s teammates who also fight for the UFC jumped in after McGregor. Zubaira Tukhugov was the first to feel the wrath of Dana White who stated in the post-fight press conference that anyone who was under UFC contract that attacked McGregor would be cut or if they weren’t they would never fight for the UFC.

Zubaira was set to fight Artem Lobov, McGregor’s teammate at the end of the month but was pulled from the fight card after the incident. This is not something that Khabib has taken lightly and has now told the UFC where he stands through an Instagram post.

I would like to address @ufc Why didn't you fire anyone when their team attacked the bus and injured a couple of people? They could have killed someone there, why no one says anything about insulting my homeland, religion, nation, family? Why do you have to punish my team, when both teams fought. If you say that I started it, then I do not agree, I finished what he had started. In any case, punish me, @zubairatukhugov has nothing to do with that. If you think that I’ll keep silent then you are mistaken. You canceled Zubaira’s fight and you want to dismiss him just because he hit Conor. But don’t forget that it was Conor who had hit my another Brother FIRST, just check the video. if you decide to fire him, you should know that you’ll lose me too. We never give up on our brothers in Russia and I will go to the end for my Brother. If you still decide to fire him, don’t forget to send me my broken contract, otherwise I'll break it myself. And one more thing, you can keep my money that you are withholding. You are pretty busy with that, I hope it won’t get stuck in your throat. We have defended our honor and this is the most important thing. We intend to go to the end. #Brothers

Savage stuff, as the champ essentially threatens to vacate the title.

Both fighters delivered nail-biting exchanges in four thrilling rounds. But more than the intense action, the fight also featured hair-raising dialogues, including Khabib talking to his challenger while he pummeled him in the second round.

“Let’s talk now. Let’s talk now.” Nurmagomedov repeatedly told McGregor during his ground and pound.

But the drama did not stop there. A new video has come out, showing another dialogue between the two UFC megastars, with McGregor apologising to Nurmagomedov in the middle of the fight.
