A Muslim man has been named a hero after he saved hundreds of lives by hugging a suicide bomber who was about to kill many people.

Hero Najih Shaker Al-Baldawi slowly went towards the terrorist who was wearing a suicide belt and firmly wrapped his arms around him.

The suicide bomber who was a member of a terrorist organisation ‘Isis’ then detonated the explosive killing himself aswell as Nijih.

Nijih was a local resident who stopped a suicide bomber who tried to make his way to Sayyed Mohammad Shrine to kill many people.

A total of 40 members of the public were killed and 74 were injured. If the explosion detonated inside the shrine, hundreds would have lost their lives.

Security officers attacked the other bombers who were restricted from entering the shrine.

Two of them blew themselves up and the third one was shot to death.

The vicious terrorist attack caused fire damage to the nearby area which was close to the shrine.

After the attack Daesh claimed responsibility for the destruction, they said; Five members took part in this attack, killing security forces and guards at the shrine, then fighting with Iraqi forces before detonating the bombs they were carrying.

In a statement by UN’s Iraqi envoy Jan Kubis said; ”It is clear the cowardly attack on the shrine aims to spark sectarian tensions and drag Iraq back to the dark days of sectarian conflict”.

Terrorist’s have no religion, their main objective is to cause as mush destruction as possible. More Muslim have died in these barbaric attacks than any other religion. These terrorists who call themselves Muslims are in no way connected to Islam in any way shape or form.

Najih Shaker Al-Baldawi who gave his life to save others is a true Muslim.
