A female of Enfield has been found guilty and jailed for grooming a child aged 14 years old.

The jury at Wood Green Crown Court found Kelly Wolf, 28, guilty of two counts of Causing or Inciting a Child to Engage in sexual activity.

The court heard, at the age of 26, Kelly Wolf had sex with the child in a park.

The authorities were told of the relationship when they were reported of the child gone missing.

The child’s family reported to the police that they had doubts that Kelly Wolf is grooming their son.

This was later confirmed by the friend of the 14 year old victim when he found out that his friend had gone missing. He also told the police that he had seen both having sex in the park.

When the victim came home, the police questioned him regarding the relationship with Kelly Wolf, but he did not answer the question.

The following day, the family went to the police station where the boy told the whole story of the sexual relationship with Kelly Wolf.

Kelly Wold was taken into police custody for questioning but was released on bail.

She was later charged with two counts of Causing or Inciting a Child to Engage in sexual activity.

She has been bailed to attend Wood Green Crown Court on April 23rd 2018 for sentencing.

DC Rob Bushell, from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command, said: “These sorts of crimes are rarely reported to the police, as male victims often feel scared to speak to us about being victims of grooming.

“I hope that this conviction will urge other boys to come forward if they have been a victim of this type of crime.

She was then charged on 14 July 2017, with two counts of Causing or Inciting a Child to Engage in sexual activity and arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence. She was bailed to appear at Wood Green Crown Court.
